Conscience

Contemporary culture often undermines the importance of conscience, suggesting that it holds little value and shouldn't be taken seriously. Some educator’s today aim to instill confusion in the younger generation by promoting the idea that there is no singular moral compass, asserting that everyone has their own "true north."

However, it is inherently flawed to believe that one's moral direction can vary based on personal preference—north remains north regardless of perspective. To entertain such notions is naive.

There's a prevailing sentiment that we shouldn't compromise our conscience to conform to societal norms, yet this is increasingly commonplace. The consequence of this trend is the erosion of conscience itself, leading to a loss of conviction regarding what is truly right or wrong. Paul admits that acting against clear judgement of conscience hurts man's moral integrity.
